Psychotherapy
Understanding the whole story, not just the symptoms
Psychotherapy in Marietta, Georgia, with phone or video visits for clients across the state.
Anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions rarely appear out of nowhere. Dr. Alina takes the time to connect the dots, so that your diagnosis is accurate and your treatment truly fits you.
The approach
“Getting the diagnosis right is where good treatment begins.”
I work to connect the dots. Before settling on a diagnosis, I look carefully at your history, including past trauma, relationships, and life experiences, so that what we name is accurate and what we do about it actually helps.
My style is conversational and straightforward. I draw on several proven therapeutic models and adapt them to you, rather than fitting you into a single method. You can expect honest, meaningful conversations, delivered with respect and care.

Marriage & Couples Counseling
Understanding the whole relationship
I don’t take sides. In couples work, my role is to understand both of you, and the relationship itself, with the same care and attention.
I am honest in my assessment, and I share it openly. I ask the same of you: openness to honest feedback, a willingness to have real conversations, and a commitment to growth.
Dr. Alina
Looking beneath the conflict
Personality differences, mental health, substance use, and recurring patterns all deserve careful attention.
Honest assessment, shared openly
You will hear what I see in the relationship, clearly and respectfully.
Clarity about what comes next
The work may involve understanding patterns, making changes, or deciding whether the relationship can continue.
Considering divorce or facing separation
Contemplating divorce or going through a painful, high-conflict separation can be emotionally overwhelming. Counseling offers space to process that strain, consider difficult decisions, and work toward dignity and respect.
